first time solo in an open mic ^^;
it was fun. :3 every tuesday nights at 3rd cup cafe is open mic night!
but yeah, i’m just trying to get more into performing at open mics just so that i can have experience in singing in a microphone. its super different than at jam sessions, and i really wanna get better, and get known. ^^
on the H1 West passing the liliha overpass, there was this tourist guide bus in the middle lane, and i was on the far left lane right next to it. i looked, and noticed that it had a tv, and it was a pretty big screen too. so i pulled up right next to it and matched speed just to see what was playing. that’s when i thought, “LOL what if i was to keep it like this all the way until they separate?“
lmfao i thought that was hilarious. i tilted my head back and laughed for a bit, until the wind started going into my helmet and became bothersome. so i got back in riding position and back into my cruising speed.
the second one was right after passing wahiawa, and past the bridge, right before the right turn into whitmore. there was this guy on the right side of the road, walking his bike uphill. he had his hand out like he was trying to hitchhike or something.
as i approached him, i thought. ” ahahaha it would be so funny if i just passed by and smacked his hand like i was giving him a high five. “
i was almost serious about it too; i was inching my way closer to him just so that i would be in range to connect the high five.
xD no lie, if you could see in my helmet, my face was pretty much like this: >:D
maybe about two seconds to impact, he put his hand down.
i was like awwwww.. well i guess i really have no choice but not to do it after all. lol.
